I am a biracial lady who is considered attractive..but.. I have a big gap in my 2 front teeth..is this ugly?

...Its like a half of inch wide...so it's pretty big....sometime when I first meet people they are initially friendly to me but then when I begin to speak their eyes drop down and shoot down to front and center..LOL..I am laughing but I am dead serious..then they act different...is it annoying or in the way? It's like they are looking at me saying, "Why do you have that...uooooooo....I am 28 and can't afford braces..what to do??

I know it's "easy for me to say", but i wouldn't worry about what other people think. If the space between your teeth is bothering YOU, then you may be able to talk to a dentist about making payment arrangements for dental work. Keep in mind that looks aren't everything. Be confident in yourself. Hey, just look at Lauren Hutton. She has a space between her teeth that looks about 1/2 in. She's gorgeous and a model on top of that! We all have things that we don't like about our looks. But that's ok. They make us who we are.

Reply:It's cute, i had and x that had a big gap there, once I got used to her I found it sexy. For the new people you meet sorry, human nature sucks. Could be worse though, like a birthmark around you eye, or a woman with a big bald spot. I can imagine her smile now, even so long ago; it still cheers me up.
Reply:Talk to your dentist...it seems to bother YOU and that's what's important. There are other alternatives to braces probably and you can include this in your plans/budget. Don't wait...do it for yourself. If you want it bad enough you'll find a way. Good luck........
Reply:No worries. We all have "flaws" or as I like to think personal quarks which help to make us our very unique, individual selves. I have some things which I wish I could sometimes change, but on my good days I love them. I've noticed when I'm in my loving mode of myself and I cherish every inch of me, then the quarks seem to not to be noticeable to people. Remember to always love yourself and everything about you. If you choose to go the cosmetic "surgery" route of sorts, then you are in my prayers to be able to have the money for it!
Reply:Lauren Hutton looks great with a gap in her teeth. Many people do... and then.. some don't. If yours is not that attractive then ask your dentist about porcelain veneers or if there is a bonding he can do. Ask for a payment plan. Your smile is the first thing you show someone..it's important.

Reply:If you can't fix them, you will have to learn to live with them! A gap between the two front teeth means that you will be rich! That is, if you believe in superstitions!!
Reply:Perfection, for me, is a turn off. It makes them seem fake. Everyone seems to have a flaw somewhere, and thats what I usually love the most about my partner.





That said, no, its not ugly.
