I'm getting my spacers in for 2 weeks because my dentist is on vacation, and there is nothing I can do.
Do spacers give you a big gap between your two front teeth?
when i got spacers the orthodontist didn't even put them in the front two teeth....normally, the spacers don't go there so the space would not be inbetween ur two front teeth....the spacers are not that big and you don't see them as much as you thought you would....no one will notice......and as soon as the spacers come out...the braces go in...so you won't see a space cause there will be stuff there......you never see an empty space....just a small spacer......dont worry!!! good luck!!!
Reply:yes
Reply:I had a space bar where my front two bottom teeth were supposed to be from the time I was 18 months old until I was 8. I had been dropped down the stairs, whoops! Anyway, the space where my two bottom front teeth are now is too small and they are crooked, so I would have to say no.
However, I have never had braces, so this may or may not apply to that because I do not know specifics. If they do create a space it shouldn't be too big of a deal to be fixed because you are undergoing an orthodontic procedure so it should be fixed as part of the service you or your parents are paying for.
