Is it me or do a lot of black people have a big gap in their front teeth?

it seems like every time I see a commercial on tv with black people in it, they always seem to have a big gap in their front two teeth. Don't they know there have been big improvements in dental work these days? Like Michael Strahan of the Giants?

Is it me or do a lot of black people have a big gap in their front teeth?
I just had to get in on this. I am black and I believe that this is being passed down in my family. However, my children and grandchildren get kudos for their gaps. When I was younger(much), I asked my dentist if I could do anything about it. He suggested that I leave it the way that God evidently intended it to be.

By the way, I lived in Africa sometime ago and I got preferential treatment because of the gap, so there. However, I never took the time to see which race of people had the GAP...
Reply:this is true
Reply:Its YOU~
Reply:Don't think that the color of your skin is determining in how your teeth will look.

My oldest daughter (white) also had this problem, which yes, we have had fixed.
Reply:It's just you...lots of people have gaps between their front teeth...it's not an issue of skin color.

What makes you think that Michael Strahan doesn't LOVE the gap he has? Perhaps he has learned (as we all should) to love who he is, including his "faults". I mean really - it's not as if he couldn't afford to have it fixed if he really wanted to (regardless of any advancements in orthodontic technology).
Reply:Are you that bored? I have a gap, which I consider part of my being. I am comfortable with myself enough to accept it and I don't plan to change it! Ever think black people are taught and learn to accept themselves as they are and don't get so caught up with creating a false image of themselves ( plastic surgery!)
Reply:You must live in a blighted area. My TV does not have this problem.

Don't you know there are treatments for mental fixations such as yours? Seek professional help and turn off that TV!
