Yes, puppies do loose their large teeth in the front, they're called canine teeth. They will come out as the puppy gets older. Pups should lose these teeth before their 8th month, if not adult teeth will come in with the baby teeth still there. It's mostly common in smaller breeds. Your vet can remove the "baby" teeth for you. It's important this is taken care of early so that your dog doesn't have any future problems such as bad breath, cavities and the such.
Do puppy dogs loose their big k9 teeth. i know they loose the other ones, but do they loose the "big ones"
Adult teeth are not lost unless it is due to injury or gum disease, abscess, etc. Just like people.
Reply:Not unless they have dental problems.
Reply:The last teeth a puppy loses are the canines in the upper jaw. Adult canines replace these by 6 mos. of age.
Reply:Yes, puppies lose all of their teeth when they start to fall out. I have a whole jar of my puppy's teeth, 4 canines in there.
