On consulting a to a doctor i have been adviced to undergo a JAW REPLACEMRNT SURGERY 4 big teeth.IS IT SAFE?

I HAVE heredatory long teeth, my age is 24yrs,the braces method has been said to be unyeilding one in my case. iam a girl.iam worried about surgery as it is said that if anything goes wrong it may lead to the patient going in coma.please tell me whether this is safe and advicable or is there any other method. (if u could provide history of patients,along with their contact numbers, who have undergone this surgery i would be greateful to u).hope u help me out!

I thik you mean a jaw repositioning or re-section where they move your jaw in relation to your maxilla.





Yes it is done all the time. There are some very experienced specialist in this field. You wont need luck if you choose someone experienced.
Reply:I hope your question would be answered by an orthodontist (specialist in Cosmetic Dentistry). The operation you mentioned invloved a big surgery where nerves are touched, which is true if not done well may have bad effects. Have 2nd opinion before you sign up for this surgery.
