I always look depressed I have really big jawline and also i a large forhead and a REALLY big nose . LONG.WIDE.AND BIG CARTILAGE. it's really nasty to look at me because i also have a lot of red pimples that never go away..i have curly hair thats uptoo my shoulders but hard to manage because it is not nice curls. my mom is really strict and thinks nothing in wrong with me..i kno i am ugly, i am really insecure also. sometimes i want to just die and kill my self so i dont hav to go through being uglly. i also hav short eyelashes...is there anyway i can be a little prettier?
Big Nose / Big Forehead / Dead Eyes. / Ugly Teeth =/?
Don't stress! You probably focus on your flaws, and that usually makes people notice them more and makes YOU notice them more, also. Work on your confidence; it will help you a lot.
•For your 'large forehead' you can get your hair cut and get some bangs if you can manage them (since you said your hair was curly)
•For pimples, use a good pimple-removing cream or treatment such as Pro-Active or Neutrogena. Pro-Active did NOT work for me and made me get more pimples, but Pro-Active does help a lot...you can also go to the doctor and you can actually get a really good treatment for pimply skin.
•For your wild, curly hair, you can do a few things:
-Straighten it. If your worried about straightening it a lot, there is a treatment for people who straighten their hair a lot.
-Use mousse or something that can make fixing your hair a lot easier.
-My mom uses a special hair product that makes the curls in her hair more defined. It shapes the curls and it makes her hair look a lot better.
•For your teeth get Crest Whitening strips or go to a doctor and whiten them.
•Mascara is a great, easy, cheap way to get your lashes to look a lot longer; Covergirl is a really good brand.
Again; confidence is something a person needs in order to live a happy life. You're probably not half as ugly as you believe yourself!! [:
Reply:wait are you a girl or a guy? u know your "flaws" become more self evident if you focus on them, im not sure why, but people notice more if you are self conscious
Reply:Well for one, work on confidence because I know a ton of people and that's their greatest quality and that's what makes people confide in them.. I seriously doubt you're ugly because I have seen a ton of people with the features you described and they look fine. Make up helps boost confidence but be careful with it.. mascara will give your eyelashes more length.. and try out different hair styles, layers always make faces look better.
Reply:get proactive for piples get a hair strietner or relax your hair at the salon get teeth whitner and use mascara for longer eyelashes and use bllush sometimes when your pipmeles are gone and theres red left
Reply:Im going through the same thing. Send me a pic and thats the only way people can be totally honest. You are who you are. You can try straightening your hair,Mascara, eyeliner, dermatoligist?! Proactive, bangs usually hide foreheads
You know rhianna has a big forehead but A good hairstyle can really make a difference.
Send me A pic and ill be totally honest. I have a big nose too and I hate it. I also have pimples! NO nose is uglier then mine trust me Im so insecure its not even funny!
Reply:What's up with your self-esteem?! Geez! Trust me, every girl is insecure about there appearance. But in reality, I bet you're prettier than you think. Instead of focusing on the things you don't like about yourself, think about the positive qualities you have ... like if you kind and fun-to-be-around.
About the 'issues' you mentioned:
I have super curly hair because im bi-racial, with a black dad and a white mom. A good book to read to manage your curls is called "Curly Girl" by Lorraine Massey ... you can find it an barnes and noble or borders. I bought it, %26amp; now I can really manage my curls... it's about $10. I have acne as well (doesn't every teenager?!) and use the clean and clear advantage kit... it works pretty well when I consitantly use it %26amp; it's about $20 at Longs, Walgreens, CVS, etc. For teeth, crest whitestrips premium rocks and I also brush 2x a day with a whitening tooth paste. To brighten your whole complextion, use a tinted mosturizer that matches your skin color and for your eyes you could try an eye-illuminator cream and some pretty brown eye shadow and mascara!
OK... and the whole nose thing. Everyone has different noses and it's what makes us unique. Embrace it! I have a friend with a pretty prominant and pointy nose but she is so gorgeous because of her confidence and style ... she's had plenty of cute boyfriends, too.
SO, with all that in mind. Be yourself. Your mom knows what she's talking about. Yes, you will still have insecurites! I have a lot too! But just know that you have a purpose in life. You are beautiful in your own ways and God loves you no matter what.
