When do kittens get their big teeth?
Usually starting at 12 weeks they lose their front 2 teeth and by 16 weeks they lose their canine teeth.

Cats are usually all about the same size 4-10 pounds
Reply:Sure thats a domestic cat you got there

Reply:I'm not too sure when cats lose their teeth. I do know that after a year growth will start slowing down and by a year and a half he should completely stop growing. A quick call to the vet should answers your questions.

Good luck!

Reply:They've usually got all their "big teeth" by 9 months, although you probably won't notice them losing them. I only ever noticed two of my cats teeth lying on the floor when they were young. And yes, big paws does tend to mean a larger cat. Cat's are NOT all the same size, it depends very much on the mix of breeds if it is a moggie and the type of breed if it is a pure bred, just like dogs.

I'm glad your kitten is doing well!

He should be losing his kitten teeth around now - they usually start falling out between 2-4 months of age and their adult teeth are usually all in place by around 7 months of age. You usually do not notice them losing their baby teeth, since they are so tiny that you don't notice them around the house - or they actually swallow them (don't worry, this won't cause any harm).

As for the age they stop growing, it varies, but it will be around 6-8 months of age. They usually fill out between 6-12 months and become totally fully grown at about 12 months of age.

And yes, if your kitten has big paws, he may well be quite a large cat!
